I would like to introduce myself to you all, as the new Principal of Big Picture Ukiah at South Valley. It is an honor and privilege to serve our school community in this way. I have been a teacher at our school for the past three years, and deeply believe in the innovative work we are doing, and the experiences we are providing our students. I am committed to guiding our school in the positive direction we have been going, in a way that best serves all of our students.

I am originally from San Francisco, and taught at alternative schools in the Bay Area for thirteen years, before moving to Ukiah six years ago. I hold a B.A. in Latin American History from Brown University, and a Masters of Education from Mills College. My career has been dedicated to serving and supporting students for whom traditional schools have not worked.
